  2024 LokSabha & Hinduism/Hindutva Prism!!!   Much like the billions, I watched the election results on June 4 th with deep interest, worry, fear as well as resilient hope. I watched and watched and watched some more until the wee hrs. of the next day……ever since I’ve been meaning to write something on elections and why they panned out the way they did…..in a dry, reporters kinda language and approach.  All that changed when one of my classmates from college blamed disunity amongst Hindus and added that Modi is the leader that India has been waiting for about 1000 years….give n take a few decades. Absolutely riled but I paused to think what I see plainly is so diametrically different from other people.
