2024 LokSabha & Hinduism/Hindutva Prism!!!

 Much like the billions, I watched the election results on June 4^th with deep interest, worry, fear as well as resilient hope. I watched and watched and watched some more until the wee hrs. of the next day……ever since I’ve been meaning to write something on elections and why they panned out the way they did…..in a dry, reporters kinda language and approach. 

All that changed when one of my classmates from college blamed disunity amongst Hindus and added that Modi is the leader that India has been waiting for about 1000 years….give n take a few decades. Absolutely riled but I paused to think what I see plainly is so diametrically different from other people. These other people mostly are privileged, If not simply brainwashed to an empty skull.

 So back to the topic….Disunity amongst Hindus.  At work, I am wont to use ‘from a practitioner’s perspective’ a lot…I will repurpose and say from ‘an experience perspective’ what is Hinduism? And what’s the so called disunity…..

Is the Hinduism that legitimizes and empowers the most heinous discriminatory system in the human history called ‘Caste’ and goes one step further by codifying it as dharma/manusmrithi. In this day and age, I see daily examples of upper caste people pissing/quite literally on Dalits and committing unconscionable atrocities with impunity. What happened to Hathras and Kathua…..is this Hinduism I should be proud of or want to be part of? There are million events, and even larger literature on the subject….so I won’t belabor the point….please read up.

President of India, Draupadi Murmuru, goes to a temple….later the temple fellas wash it. Most recent example, Akhilesh Yadav visits Ayodhya and again the temple scum repeat the same thing. So, my religion doesn’t teach me the fundamental fact of human existence….treat every other ‘human being’ as human. Hinduism, as it is practiced, has to be the most depraved religion of the world.

You push Dalits/adivasis and even a major portion of backward classes outside the villages, marginalize completely in the society and yet complain about ‘disunity’…..what fucking unity should majority of the ‘Hindus’ have with Manusmrithi Hindus?

You oppressed all marginalized classes for god knows how many hundreds of years, and blame foreign invaders for all the ills of your making? And let’s not forget you were the first ones to jump into invaders’ durbars for plum posts…..who are you kidding?

Don’t we know the real history beginning 1000 AD just for reference. The whites came as merchants and swallowed the country whole without a lot of effort…..how did they do it? The Akhanda Bharat was in fact ruled by thousands of mini kingdoms, all full of hatred and enmity for each other ready to jump and surrender to the new King in town. How come Hinduism, leaving aside puranic references, never coalesced into a strong, empathetic society?

What happened next…..all these manusmrithi buggers were the first ones to understand the ‘benephits’ of licking Whiteman’s boots….they ‘studied’, became clerks, lawyers, eventually judges, severely punishing their own countrymen. I often wondered how these fellas could travel to the UK for education whereas their own country was enslaved by the same…reminded me of a Telugu dialogue….pekaata pekaate, baammardi baammarde. The liberals  amongst manusmrithi classes were basically equipping themselves for transfer of power whenever that happens…..Waahre khudha!

The Hindutva folks at the turn of 20^th century wanted to be dominion of the British as that maintained social stratification. You can research a 100 years but cannot find a Hindutva vaadi fighting the British….they actively sabotaged Quit India Movement and were the original proponents of the 2 nation theory(read up).

See, Hinduism has transformed into Hindutva without me even thinking about it…..the final wrench was actually ‘Independence’ and ‘Constitution’. The colossus that Ambedkar was, really hand on heart how many of manusmrithi fellas have read his stupendous work and scholarship, made it clear that all citizens will be equal in Independent India. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat went Savaarkar types…..everybody will have vote and has same value? Yes, said Constitution.

And the much reviled topic….reservations….people don’t know this was massive comedown from having separate electorates. The primary thing that every manuvaadi gets hot under the collar is reservation in education and employment. That 1000s of years of oppression, castigation, cruelty all brushed down under…..ohhhhhhhhhh merit…..what the fuck is merit…..having a better rank? A country of rote learners devoid of critical thinking and importantly empathy….how do we even define intelligence? Being human is highest form of intelligence…….rest is just a biased interpretation. Ability to work, craft, produce, do physical labor is intelligence.  Ascribing divinity to essentially begging is not intelligence. 

Affronted by Constitution, badly bruised egos from Mughal Rule, then Whites(while doing best to ‘benephit’)…..manuvaadis found their favorite whipping boys…..hatred for minorities and special hatred for Muslims. They needed a majority of ‘Hindus’ to join the fold to drive this agenda on the imagined enemy…..granted that morning till evening I will oppress you, marginalize you, but you are a Hindu and we have to fight this common enemy ‘Muslims(thanks Suresh Gopi for inspiration).

The Sangh, RSS to be precise, was at it for the last 100 years diligently and the poison eventually sunk into bloodstreams accelerated by WhatsApp technology. It skyrocketed as it was lapped by suited, booted, bushy tailed boys in India and the fucking diaspora. The  Agenda setters and narrative builders and influencers were all uniformly Sanghfied…..be it  Judiciary, Law Enforcement, Media and eventually in Governments themselves. This miniscule in numbers upper class, upper caste got to set the deeply communal, openly genocidal Hindutva agenda on the rest of population.

Sorry, I digressed….so all the manuvaadis, nursing decades of pent up vileness on Constitution, mixing Muslim hatred to max found their messiah in Modi….whose only claim to fame is Godhra massacre and he being plainly genocidal first and foremost and a liar par excellence. Add couple of big crony capitalists ‘Hindutva’ arrived……all the media bought out, no dissent tolerated, fake encounters, fake nationalism, Siachen par apne jawan….peaked. This version of Hindutva was so powerful that otherwise reasonable ppl turned downright ghoulish instantly….every dissenting question is met with they have done this 1000 yrs. ago or Congress has done this in the last 70 years or Nehru ki wajese….. 

‘Hindu’ polarization worked as to make any other alliances moot in 2014/19….the tragedy was even Dalits/Adivasis/OBCs falling for this while the rug under them was pulled in broad day light. All institutions of Democracy….Judiciary, Law Enforcement, CBI, ED, ECI enslaved by executive. No iota of democracy….If you don’t believe it just review different state elections and how BJP broke regional parties, whitewashed the most corrupt, welcomed the most criminal(Brij Bhushan, Sengar) and basically destroyed any remnant of federalism.

The fundamental issues of primary health, primary education, employment were discussed a grand Zero times……oh you say GDP…..I say fuck GDP as 90% of it is amassed by less than 5% of population. What’s for common man….jumla…..acche din….black money…2 crores jobs/year, pakoda talna, ppl dying standing in lines due to demonetization, GST…..no legacy media org had the guts to ask anything, terrified even to broach the subject. While the cools cats, metrosexuals, DINKs were enjoying the new expressways….yes the 120 crore people should salivate that take public transport….do you ever see a public transport bus on expressway in India? Back in our ‘socialist USA’, things are actually much more equal! (sorry, had to drop in that) . What’s good for the gander isn’t obviously good for goose….. 

Arrey Ayodhya had a new highway, airport….while poor living there were displaced without any compensation….all Hindus mind. Eventually biological issues like livelihoods, employment, education, health began to puncture fake bond of ‘Hindutva’ which was purely based on hatred for fellow beings and against any law of nature. Dalits saw red when 400 charsau paar baar baar dohraayagaya aur Samvidhaan badal daalenge was almost open threat….their illusion of the glory of Hinduism vanished when they realized the rights provided by the Constitution, reservations are just one among many things, would be summarily taken away. Much like Salim Langde pet par laat maaro…..Dalits/Adivasis/some OBCs realized Hinduism dikhaakar hamaare pet par laat maaro….aur expect karo vinamrata se jhuke rahe.

Yes, that’s how the ‘Hindus’ disunited again in favor Humanity. Religion has to be private matter. Recorded History, even the recent history including World Wars and the very recent Gaza genocide is all in the name of Religion. Religion used by the State, Organizations, Groups is only meant for bloodshed. I personally, as if it matters, hate/condemn/disapprove any fundamentalism in any religion.

Hinduism, as it is practiced, is unconscionably evil, pernicious, disgusting and inhuman.  Long may Hindus stay ‘disunited’ in favor of common Humanity. Hindus are not in khatra, never were in khatra…..all khatras should have been removed in the last 10 years right.
